    Hi

Sorry about my grade level error above. My class is a Year 7&8 class in New Zealand (11 and 12 years old).

    Thanks

    Valerie McLeod

  2. Dana Wunder says:

The class we are suppose to blog with is ourselves, I was wondering if that can be changed?
    Thanks
    Dana

Hi, wouldn’t it make sense to blog with classes of the same age group?

    • Miss W. says:

      G’day Ms King,

Just to make sure all classes get some comments, it is suggested that you leave a few comments on the blogs either side of you and then go visit lots of other blogs that are more the same age. Otherwise some classes might receive no comments at all.

  4. Olga says:

Dear Miss W, could you tell me, please, if I could edit the URL for my blog on the list of class blogs? Thank you!

  5. Ms. Kerr says:

    Miss W.,
Ms. Kerr found our blog on the list on Sunday, but we don’t see it there today. Some participates have already added some comments to our blog. We’d like to make comments also, but we don’t know who our “neighbours” are.
    Thanks for your help.

  6. Hello,
We are trying to complete our very first challenge as a class by visiting the blogs above and below us. We are very disappointed because some of the blogs don’t have “comment” spaces, others are listed as private and we can’t view them, and some seem to be individual students instead of classes.

Help! We are a third grade class in the USA. We’d love to connect with other classes all over the world. Check us out mrsmckelvey.edublogs.org.

    Thanks,
    Mrs. McKelvey’s Class

    • Miss W. says:

      G’day Mrs McKelvey,
Thanks for joining the challenge. Feel free to look at all the blogs in the challenge. Those that are from the kidblog platform generally have the teacher as the first name on the list, then the students under that. Some of these blogs are set to private but I hope that will change in the next couple of weeks.

      • neinsteins says:

Agreed – looking for other blogs in the challenge but I am sandwiched between a blog that has not posted since August and another that has a private blog that readers must log in to visit… Hope I get some visitors to our class blog this week – my ear 5s are left to blog on their own while I am away with the year 6 students…. fingers crossed…

      • Miss W. says:

        G’day Einsteins,
Feel free to comment on other class blogs. This is the first challenge where so many classes have still not changed the privacy settings. Next challenge I think I will also sort classes by elementary/primary, middle/Junior high, high school/college and university/adult learners.

    Hello,
I have the same question as one above, but I wasn’t able to resolve. We are new to blogging and are so looking forward to the challenge! I looked for Week 1 challenge under “Latest Challenge Posts” but only see Weeks 8,9 and 10.. .I assume from the last challenge? Can you direct me to first challenges for Sept. 2012?
    Thanks! Mrs. Campagna

  10. Kylie Miller says:

    Hi Miss W,
I was just wondering if there is a badge we can add to our blogs to show we are part of the 2012 challenge? (We’re just so proud, we want everybody to know!) :)
Thank you for all your hard work,
    Kylie

  11. Mrs. McKelvey says:

Just wondering how we get the weekly emails for the fall challenge. We don’t seem to be on the list?

    Thanks,
