Education is more Inportent because we can learn better on paper. To learn from technolagy like google you can go there for anything at any time if you know its there you eill go there. On paper it will stay in your head for ever and ever for when ever you will need it.
Is there a Twitter hashtag to follow for the challenge? I have 6-8 very excited Yr 5/6′s ready to go
G’day Celia,
Never used one before for the challenge but looks like #sbc12 would be OK to use.
Great idea with the Twitter hashtag!
Might want to choose a different hashtag. That one is taken and the tweets aren’t so good for kids. Might I suggest #EBsbc12
No twitter feed on that one yet.
Celia, Steve and Dinah,
We have changed the hashtag to #12sbc. The student blogging challenge is the only thing mentioned on it since Feb 28.

I have about 55 students blogging using their own accounts. I leave a comment on each of their posts, and they also leave comments on their peers’ posts, but it would be great to get someone from the “real world” to comment on their blogs. Should I have each individual student come here to register? If I do, does that ensure a commenter, or will there be some blogs that do not get a “helper” assigned?
Mr. Wilson
G’day Mr Wilson,
Hopefully each student should get a mentor assigned to them as long as they register within the next week. Often students late to register might miss out.

Hi, I know it’s a little late to be participating in the challenge but I would like to try in September. On the enrolment form you have to put your teacher’s name in. I am still a student but I have changed schools and I am not being supported by a teacher from my high school. Can I still participate?
G’day Maya,
When you register in September, just put in your home room teacher’s name. Wait though until September to register.
