Please check this post!!

Are you set for the start of the challenge tomorrow?

There are a few things students and teachers need to check.

Any student or class that  has registered should now have a welcome comment from me. Please remember to check your spam folder if using Edublogs as I have left a link in the comment. Student participants above the bright blue Davo Devil registration have been checked – if below this line, I still have to leave comment.

If there is no comment from Miss W – avatar is a lady with grey hair, drinking coffee, thongs on her feet and a flower in her hair – then one of the following things must have happened.

  • The URL you registered with is incorrect.
  • There was no post for me to leave a comment on other than the ‘Hello World’ from Edublogs.
  • I needed to log in to leave a comment – especially with Kidblog blogs and weebly blogs.
  • I couldn’t find a suitable profile if using Blogger – must have Name/URL as an option.
  • Couldn’t find where to leave a comment if using tumblr blogs.

If you have registered incorrectly, please send me an email with corrections or leave a comment below giving age, name on list and the correct URL so I can change it on the spreadsheet. Do not register again.

If I couldn’t log into your blog, then privacy settings or comment options might need to be changed.

Hopefully I will visit again at least once through the challenge and will leave a comment then.

Most students will have a mentor who will visit 2 or 3 times as well. To find out about your mentor visit the mentor registration page.

Teachers with class blogs:

Please make sure you visit the blogs on either side of your name even if they are not the same age group as your students. This makes sure all classes will have some comments left.  Also feel free to make contact with other classes that are closer to the ages of your students.

The challenge activities posts can be copied onto your class blog or adapted to suit your classes needs. Everything on the student challenge blog is on a creative commons share alike license so please remember to give attribution by including a link back to the original post.

Happy challenging tomorrow!!
